ABOUT

Seema Shah Interiors is a Miami Beach–based interior design studio creating spaces that feel deeply personal, layered, and alive. From full and partial renovations to the transformation of a single room, Seema approaches every project with the same belief: the best spaces begin with the person who lives there. Guided by an instinct for color, a love of vintage form, and a trained eye for knowing when to push and when to pull back, she creates interiors that feel collected over time rather than designed all at once.

That same point of view carries through every scale of the studio’s work. Sometimes it means reimagining a home from the ground up; other times, finding the one piece that changes a room entirely. Seema sources from markets, dealers, and trade shows across the country, draws from a private archive of one-of-a-kind finds, and designs custom pieces when what a space needs simply doesn’t exist. The result is always specific to the client: expressive but livable, unexpected but considered, and impossible to replicate.

SEEMA SHAH

Seema Shah is the founder and principal designer of Seema Shah Interiors, a Miami Beach–based studio creating layered, highly personal residential interiors. After studying Interior Design at Parsons School of Design, she spent nearly a decade designing acclaimed hospitality and residential projects in New York, developing a deep appreciation for spaces that tell a unique story through thoughtful layers of color, texture, art, and vintage pieces.

Drawing on her hospitality background, Seema approaches every project with a focus on how a space feels as much as how it looks—creating homes that feel collected rather than decorated, tailored to the lives of the people who inhabit them.

PHILOSOPHY

SOURCED, NOT DECORATED

Every piece in a Seema Shah room has a history before it has an address.

The room features a large woven pendant light, colorful artwork with neon lighting on the wall, and a mix of modern and vintage decor.

The spirit of adaptability ultimately shaped the character of the home itself. Rather than feeling overly pristine or prescribed, the interiors are dynamic and lived‑in, in equal parts designed not just to impress, but to evolve alongside family life. “Each space has its own identity, while still contributing to a cohesive overall experience,” Seema says.
